Course Summary
The Preaching Made Simple course is a 7-module course focused on the elements of preaching successful evangelistic sermons. The course is divided into several sections; the people, the sermon, the delivery, the invitation for decision, and preaching practice. Learn how to create the elements of a sermon, how to deliver a sermon, and how to make a successful invitation to others to accept the transformational relationships with Jesus Christ and embrace the Gospel.
What Will I Learn ?
You will learn the 12-steps of quality sermon preparation while retaining the heart of the message of building relationships and leading others to Christ. You will discover truths about your role as the mouthpiece of God as you humbly present Salvation and a call to accept Him.
What Do I Need To Know ?
After completing this course you will earn 1.5 CEU and a certificate of completion in your Adventist Learning Community e-portfolio.
After completing this course for continuing education credit, you may re-enroll in the course for the purposes of resource retrieval, but not earn any additional CEUs.

Instructors
Dr. Sydney C. Gibbions is the author of the book Preaching Made Simple. He has produced a successful series on preaching that will transform your ability to deliver impactful, life-changing decisions for Christ. He is an executive officer of the Government of Bermuda and Director Ministerial Liaison Office at the Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He spent time in the mission field on behalf of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He received his Doctor of Ministry at Andrews University Seminary.
